Anti-Bullying Club was recognized as the HERO Peer Club of the Year by the Riverside Medical Clinic Charitable Foundation (RMCCF)’s Anti-Bullying Institute on August 19.

The Anti-Bullying Institute’s HERO Awards Program exists to recognize individuals, schools, or community groups that reside in Riverside County who have shown exceptional efforts in being kind, inclusive, and aiding to end bullying in their school, place of work, and/or community.

During the 2019-20 school year, ABC was invited to several district board meetings where we were able to share the mission of our club and discuss our activities. 

Our advisor, Mrs. Gomez, received the 2020 Riverside County School Counselor of the Year Award. This award celebrated Mrs. Gomez's 13 years of being an outstanding school counselor, while also being ABC's advisor since 2011.

ABC was invited by the MVUSD Chief Academic Officer provide an empathy training to over 150 adults within the Moreno Valley Unified School District at the 2020 Mid Year Leadership Conference.  ABC presented to district Administrators, Coordinators, Principals, and union officials.
